Ana Sofia Lopes is a seasoned IT project management professional with over 20 years of experience, leading software development initiatives across diverse sectors including healthcare, civil aviation and public administration. With a strong foundation in software engineering and project management, she has successfully guided national and international projects through all phases.

Her expertise spans scope definition, requirements management, and financial oversight. She has delivered systems built on technologies such as SharePoint, .NET, Liferay, and Drupal. Ana also has expertise in Enterprise Project Management, having already set up several Project Management Offices.

Currently, Ana focuses on delivering Microsoft-based solutions and GenAI initiatives for an international company, leveraging technical proficiency and strategic leadership to drive impact.

PMP certified since 2009, Ana has been an active volunteer with the PMI Portugal Chapter, contributing to initiatives such as organization of the 2016 annual conference, co-translating Gary Nelson’s youth project management books, and serving as tutor and program board member for PMI Portugal nas Escolas. Ana has also been a team member and co-creator of PMI Portugal’s Project Management Kit for Social Good.
